Commissions
I am open to select commissions that align with my current body of work.
These pieces are for collectors who feel drawn to symbolism, inner worlds, personal freedom, and meaningful visual storytelling. You can come with a clear idea, a loose direction, or a willingness to let the work unfold through my artistic interpretation.
I do not recreate existing artworks exactly. I can create a new original piece within the visual language of my practice.
If you are interested in a commission, please include as much of the following as possible in your message:
- What kind of piece are you interested in?
- What drew you to my work?
- Are there specific artworks of mine that connect with the feeling or direction you have in mind?
- What subject, symbol, figure, animal, object, or emotional direction are you interested in?
- What personal story, theme, or inner world do you want the piece to hold?
- What size or approximate dimensions are you considering?
- Where do you imagine the artwork living?
- Are you looking for a painting, drawing, mixed-media work, or are you open to my recommendation?
- Do you have a preferred colour direction or mood?
- Do you have any reference images, room photos, or inspiration you want to share?
- Are there any details, colours, symbols, or directions you want to avoid?
- Is this for yourself, a gift, a private collection, or a specific space?
- What is your ideal timeline?
- Do you have a budget range in mind?
How commissions work
If the project feels aligned, I will reply so we can discuss the direction, size, timeline, and budget. Once the commission is confirmed, a non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due when the artwork is complete.
Each commission is created through conversation and artistic interpretation, not as an exact replica or strict design service. Small reasonable adjustments may be considered where possible, but full redesigns, full repaints, cancellations, or refunds are not available once work has begun.
Not every commission request will be accepted. I only take on projects that feel aligned with the direction of my current practice.
Commission FAQ
Who are commissions for?
Commissions are for collectors who feel connected to my work and want a personal piece created within the visual language of my practice. They are best suited for people drawn to symbolism, inner worlds, personal freedom, identity, transformation, and meaningful visual storytelling.
How does the process work?
The process begins with your inquiry. If the project feels aligned, I will reply so we can discuss the idea, size, timeline, budget, references, and direction. Once the commission is confirmed, a non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due when the artwork is complete.
Do I need a clear idea before reaching out?
No. You can come with a clear concept, a loose direction, or a feeling you want the piece to hold. I can help shape the visual direction through conversation.
Can you recreate an existing artwork?
No. I do not recreate existing artworks exactly. I can create a new original piece inspired by the visual language, themes, or atmosphere of my current practice.
What sizes do you offer?
Sizes depend on the project. Please include the approximate dimensions you are considering, and I can recommend what makes sense for the piece.
How much does a commission cost?
Pricing depends on size, medium, complexity, and timeline. Please include your budget range in your inquiry so I can let you know what is possible.
How long does a commission take?
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the piece, as well as my current studio schedule. If you have a specific deadline, please include it in your inquiry.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, international shipping can be arranged. Shipping costs, customs fees, duties, import taxes, and local charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
What if I am not happy with the final artwork?
Each commission is created through conversation and artistic interpretation. Because of this, I do not offer full redesigns, full repaints, cancellations, or refunds once work has begun. Small reasonable adjustments may be considered where possible, but clear communication before the work begins is the best way to make sure the piece feels aligned.
Are all commission requests accepted?
No. I only accept select commissions that feel aligned with the direction of my current practice.
